This EP is a class project produced by Colorado State University’s Audio Production and Editing course. The class records 4-songs by a local band. This takes place during two live recording sessions inside the CTV Channel 11 studio at CSU. Students are in charge of engineering a single instrument during the recording. Students use the recordings to create their own mixes into a final EP for the bands. The bands choose their favorite mixes which are then mastered by Anna Frick of Airshow Mastering in Boulder, Colorado. Hannah Copeland is the course founder, instructor, and producer on the of the project. Copeland also serves as the general manager of CSU’s campus radio station, 90.5 KCSU. This EP was produced creatively and safely during the COVID-19 pandemic.

What's special about this EP:
On the recording day for this EP, the original band withdrew 3-hours before go-time. Nolan Brumbach, former class member and Fort Collins musician, left work early for the day to perform these songs for the class recording. Instructor Hannah Copeland subbed in on the drums, which were borrowed from the campus radio station. Brumbach and Copeland had never played together before. In the end, the students still had a hands on recording experience, which is what the class is all about!
